His First Solo Trip
It was November 19, 2019, when he decided to travel to Mumbai (Maharashtra) on his own. It was first solo trip of his life via flight. The most courageous decision of his life, a boy in his mid-20s, had a lifetime of dreams inside and a desire to become what he was passionate about. He had no support from anywhere. He had been saving money from the job he had been doing for the past year and a half. He was saving money to pursue his dreams. The 24-year-old boy had no idea where to begin, but to begin something, you have to start. To get somewhere, you have to escape from somewhere.
Mumbai is also known as the financial capital of India. He had never been to Mumbai before, so he was very excited and nervous as well. It was his first solo trip. He was going there to get the answers to his questions, which were booming inside him like the waves of the sea. And another exciting thing was that this was the first time he was going to experience flight. His flight time was in the evening, around 6 PM, from New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. He took the metro from his city and had reached the New Delhi airport. He was going through the on-boarding process and, lucky for him, he got the window seat.
Now he’s been sitting inside the plane, awaiting take off. He was experiencing something completely new with cabin crew and air hostesses. After reaching his seat, Once, when he was putting his bag up on the overhead bin while closing the door, something fell down. The air hostess noted it, and she took it back with a smile on her face. That was a very embarrassing moment for him. The reason was he had put his bag in the wrong overhead bin.
Now the time has come to fly and the sun has set. When the airplane reached its height, he looked outside the window. He was looking at the sky as the sun was setting. That scene was very pleasing, and he could also see the whole city when he looked down from the window. It was a new experience for him, and he saw the evening passing before his eyes. But the disappointing thing was that the cloud didn’t see clear that moment.
He was pretending to read a book like a true bookworm, but he couldn’t take his gaze away from the view outside the window. The landscape was so fascinating. He had been watching the cities passing by from over the top. He could not identify the city, but only the twirling light of buildings could be seen. His first flight was very exciting, and he really enjoyed it. He didn’t know how quickly three hours passed. And the next moment, he was at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, where he is going to face many challenges in the coming days.
It was such an unforgettable travel experience, and the most important thing is that he went on this journey alone. Well, he was going to stay with his cousin, who had been working as an intern photographer in Mumbai. His cousin was the only one who knew him in that strange city. He was in the city of dreams, Mumbai (Maharashtra). And those 19 days were going to be very crucial for his career. While landing in that city, he started to feel that he had landed in the ocean. It has to be seen how far he will go.
